Time Reset

When tokens are transferred, the holding period resets. The new holder's duration begins from the transfer date, not the original purchase.

When tokens are transferred from one wallet (address) to another:

  • Holding time is reset for the receiving wallet.

  • The holding duration for calculating Decay Tax starts from the day tokens are received, not from the initial buyer's purchase date.

This ensures tokens transferred between wallets can't bypass the intended tax penalties for short-term flipping.

Holding Duration (Recipient) = Current Date (sell date) − Token Received Date

When tokens are bought, the address will receive Tokens.

If user transfers the tokens to another address, then holding time gets reset.

When the new address will sell the tokens, the holding time will be considered from the token received date.
